Our Garage Door Braces are an extremely effective, highly affordable solution to wind protection for garage doors in the event of a major hurricane. The product is a vertical bracing system made from high quality aircraft-grade aluminum that attaches to the inside of the garage door. The Garage Door Braces both strengthen the door and provide support and anchors for the door in addition to the garage door tracks. Our Garage Door Braces are patented and their performance capabilities have been proven through independent laboratory tests.
Our installers will take care of the major installation. We install a bracket into the wall above the garage door, anchors into the garage floor, and brackets install on each hinge. This provides the necessary vertical reinforcement of the garage door tracks. do not remain permanently attached to the garage door. Each brace weighs less than 15 lbs and can be set up to the garage door when needed by the home owner.
